How can you analyze and formulate corporate strategy?
I would recommend not to forget to work out your Organizational Culture along with the corporate strategy. The culture may be not so obvious but crucial to make your strategy work. Most of the strategies fails because corporate culture is not able to execute it. There are many approaches to developing companies through culture and strategy. E.g. one of my favorite one is "Tribal Management": https://linkedin.com/pulse/hr-startups-tribal-leadership-john-popel

How can you analyze and formulate corporate strategy?
For a startup I would recommend to evade those classic business analytics instruments in favor of the one created specially for them - the "Lean Canvas." That is a single-page business plan template that replaces elaborate business plans with a single page business model for venture companies designed for growth.

How can you analyze and formulate corporate strategy?
Defining company mission and vision is the job only the founders can cope with. Do not delegate that to any other stakeholder. Mission of your company answering the reason of the company existence. The following framework will help you to mold it: "we help X do Y by doing Z". Where X is your target audience, Y is the goal or problem you want to tackle, and Z is the method by which you achieve it. Vision is a draft of your company's future doodles through the years reversed to the current moment. Horizon benchmark for most companies and startups nowadays is 5-7 years. It is also very adopted by qualified investors for making relevant decisions through "7 years rule" (i.e. you could double your initial investment every seven years).
